Translation

Abu Muhammad ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Ās (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "None of you (truly) believes until his personal desire complies with what I have come with."

Explanation

The Prophet (ﷺ) clarified that a person does not attain the complete obligatory faith until his love is in accordance with what the Messenger (ﷺ) brought of commands, prohibitions, and other matters—so that he loves what he commanded and dislikes what he forbade.
